Ariege Misherghi Announced as New Leader of Accountant Segment for Intuit’s Small Business Self-Employed Group
Intuit®has seen tremendous growth over the last two years, and much of that is due to accounting professionals around the world adopting QuickBooks® Online Accountant (QBOA) and recommending QuickBooks Online to their clients.
As we’ve grown, we’ve heavily invested in our products and services, enabling the value we deliver to accounting professionals to grow with us. We not only help accountants grow and prosper with the ProAdvisor® Program, which offers free training to all, but also with the Find-a-ProAdvisor site, which connects the one million annual visitors looking for an accounting professional with one that meets their needs. In addition, we help accountants manage their entire practice with Practice Management, which gives professionals confidence that nothing will fall through the cracks, and with the Apps tab within QBOA, which helps accountants streamline their processes by standardizing client workflows. We’re also expanding globally – QBOA is newly available in South Africa and Singapore. All of these innovations were introduced, or greatly improved, over the past two years, and we’re very proud of the progress we’ve made to help accounting professionals and their clients thrive.
These accomplishments, plus many more, are a result of Ariege Misherghi’s role as the product development lead for accounting professionals at Intuit. And, as we look to the future, we’re excited to announce that Ariege now has a new, expanded role as Accountant Segment business leader, responsible for driving the overall accountant business strategy, product development and delivery of our professional accounting products and services to our accountant and bookkeeper partners globally. Given her passion for accountants and delivering amazing products, we’re excited about the opportunities to further deliver on our mission of giving accounting professionals the one place to grow and manage all their clients and all their business across all the services they provide.
Ariege has spent nine years at Intuit building groundbreaking products and strong teams across a variety of offerings. Most recently, she was a key part of the success of the Accountant business, leading its product management team as one of the company’s most innovative and customer-focused leaders. Her vision inspires employees and accountants, alike, and her passion for customers, her teammates and driving innovation is contagious.
Ariege takes over this role from Rich Preece, who transitioned into a new role as U.S. Country Manager for Intuit’s Small Business Self-Employed Group. In Rich’s new role, he will be responsible for developing and delivering the overall market strategy for all QuickBooks products and services, including marketing strategies for payroll and payments.
Please join us in congratulating Ariege and Rich on their new roles!
