Automation tips and tricks: 2qbo Convert Pro

Welcome back to another article in an ongoing series about ways to save time in your practice. This tip comes from Hector Garcia, CPA.

We use an app called 2qbo Convert Pro to take PDFs or scanned bank statements, and convert them to .QBO (Web Connect) files that allow me to import them into QuickBooks® Desktop or QuickBooks Online via bank feeds—as if it were connected to the bank directly. We can then automate with bank feeds and bank rules jobs (with multi-year or closed bank accounts) that would otherwise be a long, manual process.
