Easily import PayPal transactions with Connect to PayPal
Connect to PayPal is a faster, easier way to bring your clients’ PayPal transactions into QuickBooks® Online. This app imports your clients’ transactions and displays them on the Banking screen, allowing you to handle them like a bank connection. Every transaction includes detailed information, such as customer and product data, making classification easy. Fees are automatically added to their own expense account so you don’t have to enter them manually. You can also match transactions for faster reconciliation.
If you currently use the Sync to PayPal app, you can upgrade to Connect to PayPal and take advantage of new features including:
- Review Transactions – Review transactions before you save them to your clients’ books – just like a bank.
- See Gross and Net Sales – Get details on every transaction, including PayPal fees.
- Track Fees Separately – Fees are added to their own expense account, so you don’t have to enter them by hand.
- See Details at a Glance – Sales receipts capture customer & product details from PayPal automatically.
With Connect to PayPal, you won’t see transactions that are duplicative or intermediate statuses. This includes authorizations, temporary holds, and reversals. Transactions processed through PayPal should appear in the “For Review” tab of the Banking screen within 2 hours. The app will update every 15-30 minutes.
You can categorize transactions as Sales Receipt or Deposit. Detailed information makes it easy to refer to the original transaction in PayPal.
