HyperDocs allows you to link multiple documents to any field in your client’s tax return, making the files easy to access and view.
With HyperDocs, all changes made to the original document will be synchronized, allowing your files to remain up-to-date and eliminating time spent searching your computer or cabinets for specific files.
In just two clicks, you can recall a list of linked documents for easy reference. Need a T4? No problem. Looking for an Excel spreadsheet, Word document, PDF or jpeg? They’re readily available.
HyperDocs is included at no additional charge for all users of Intuit’s® premier edition of ProFile.
How to add a new document with HyperDocs:
- Open ProFile, select a return, click on the “File” menu and then click on HyperDocs.
- To attach a new file or document, simply click “Add” in the HyperDocs window.
- Select the document you would like to link and click “Open.”
- The document will now be linked to the tax return.
Note: You can select multiple documents at once and drop them into the window.
Both the HyperDocs window and the linked documents will be kept open on your desktop for easy viewing. These can be moved over to a second monitor for ease of use.
