How to Grow Your Role as a Trusted Advisor
I got on the cloud and I've definitely taken the leap of becoming an advisor for my clients. Meaning, I don't specifically do just data entry or bookkeeping. I actually provide more of like, advisory consulting services. I felt like I can really help them by helping, by exposing them to all of these efficiency there are out there. All the integrations are out there, so I kind of took leap and take myself out of the bookkeeping position, and put myself more in an advisory position. I felt like that provided more value. Not only that, I felt more excited to talk to them about their numbers and analyze their numbers, versus entering their data. I think they appreciated me a lot more.
