Running a business

The accountable: Jason Blumer

We asked accountants what accountability means to them and how they stay accountable, and we heard a variety of responses as inspiration. Here is what Jason Blumer had to say.

Jason Blumer: Accountability is about a commitment. I don’t believe anyone can hold you accountable; instead, you agree to be held accountable to a commitment you make to something that matters. In other words, accountability is action-oriented around something you care about, not something someone imposes on you. We are accountable to our clients because we truly care about their success and are honored to be part of their journey to grow.

QuickBooks® aids us in showing our clients the numbers they are accountable to. As entrepreneurs who serve other entrepreneurs, we understand how important it is to see accurate financials in a product that is easy to read, clear in its orientation of the financial information our clients need, and always growing as a more integrated financial application.
