Timesaving tips for your practice: Use a calendar scheduling assistant

This is a series of timesaving tips by Firm of the Future authors. More tips are on their way; for now, check out all of the published tips here.

My #1 tip for 2021 is using Calendly, or some other type of calendar scheduling assistant. This program allows clients to schedule time when you are available from the list of time slots you have open. This is such a time saver, and prevents the back and forth emails, or scheduling time that is a big inconvenience. It integrates with Zoom, and will automatically include the Zoom meeting details in the Calendly event. You create your calendar – and the app does the rest. It really takes the place of an administrative assistant, and it’s easy to set up and use.
