Improved efficiency and accuracy across the experience

Our primary focus this year was strengthening QuickBooks Online and the products that support you and your clients. Every one of these updates were made to streamline processes for a smoother experience.

New QuickBooks Online capabilities include:

Streamlined reconciliation that automatically extracts ending balance, statement date, and anomalies straight from PDFs.
Improved banking data usability with functionality such as column freezing, zebra-striping, green color indicators, and text wrapping.
Faster bank feeds that perform better and leverage AI to increase efficiency, allowing you to view up to 300 transactions per page at a time.
Multi-currency support in reports to make it easy for businesses that do international transactions to get insights.
Larger batch imports that allow you to view 1,000 product and service items at once without performance issues.

Updates to Payroll include**:

Paycheck corrections in closed quarters so you can edit, void, and record past paycheck transactions any time.**
AI-powered anomaly detection to help identify errors in hours-worked data for regular, hourly pay before running payroll.
Effective Dating allowing you to schedule changes to employee compensation, including base pay and additional pay types, to take effect in a future pay period.**

Enhanced Bill Pay features**:

Bill Pay Basic is now included with every QuickBooks plan.
Faster payment processing with ACH payments arriving a day earlier.**
Higher processing limits.
More control and oversight with the new payment release approval workflow.

Payments now make it easy to**:

Schedule recurring payments and autopay for your clients that have customers with recurring charges to help ensure continuous cash flow.
Drag & drop line items between bundles on invoices for improved efficiency.

If using direct deposit, and money hasn’t moved, you can delete or edit paychecks to ensure the correct amount that should be withdrawn from your bank and deposited to the employees. If using direct deposit, and money has moved, corrections can only be used to void transactions but do not correct any money movement. Corrections can't be made on adjustment checks. Note: Corrections could result in tax over or underpayment, in which case the subscriber is responsible to take care of that separately.

This year, we introduced an AI-powered successor to QuickBooks Online Accountant: the first-ever consolidated solution built for accounting firms designed to streamline operations by putting firm management and client services on the same platform.**

Intuit Accountant Suite features include:

Client insights and dashboards: New personalized dashboards surface urgent tasks and key benchmarks, providing a clear overview of your entire client portfolio.**
Books Close (Beta): A standout feature available in beta for the Accelerate plan, "Books Close" uses AI-powered anomaly detection to streamline the month-end review process.**
Granular permissions: Responding to a top request, we unlocked the ability to create custom roles with precise permissions for more than14 specific features, ensuring better data security while delegating tasks.
