Timesaving tips for your practice: Weekly meeting with topics

This is a series of timesaving tips by Firm of the Future authors. More tips are on their way; for now, check out another tip here.

My secondary timesaver would be weekly cadence meetings with my team by topic. I find that having dedicated time to focus on parts of my business provides accountability and efficiency. While too many meetings are a time suck, I plan for one topic-based meeting per day that’s focused on the different teams we have with a static agenda. It offers more personalization than an email and invites discourse. I may meet on Mondays regarding our workflow, Tuesdays on sales status updates and reports, Wednesdays on marketing, and so on. It also offers everyone a chance to socialize briefly while staying on task.
