Milagros Hernandez: Hi, Jaclyn! Thank you so much for having me on your show. I'm super excited to be here. My name is Milagros, and I am a product manager on the QuickBooks team. I'm super, super excited to talk about the Business Network.
So let's dive in!
The Business Network just got better because we have expanded it to you, to our QuickBooks Online Accountant firms. So what we heard was that you wanted to have access to the Business Network because you wanted benefits of being a member, plus you wanted to experience it so you can confidently guide your clients; that's what we did.
We have expanded the QuickBooks Network so you can now connect to vendors, you can connect your customers, you can make your firm visible, and you can also help your clients out.
So let's go deeper.
Fast Facts:
- QuickBooks Online Accountant firms can now use the Network, and there are several ways that you can find it. You can go through the Profile Setup. You can also find it when you're connecting a new customer or a new vendor, when you're putting in their payment information, or when you are reviewing your bills.
- This goes live this month in October 2025.
- What are the benefits? You are now part of almost 5 million members in the US who have already provided their business information. This means you can now securely connect with your customers and your vendors when they update their information, you don't have to go in and manually do that. It automatically syncs. They can send you bills through the Network, and you just have to review and pay.
Let's talk a little bit about getting paid. So it's really simple to get paid. The first thing you do is you set up your profile. So you go into My Network tab, into your Profile tab, and you're able to see how your firm is showing up. You can also allow other members to find you. You can make your firm discoverable, and this is a key step, so they can send you bills and you can pay them. Like I shared before, there's no need to share sensitive information, because it all gets masked for security purposes. Also only those that you connect with are able to see your information.
So now let's talk about how you could pay your vendors. It is seamless. Once you set them up, they can easily send you bills. You review them, and you can quickly pay them. And the best part, you pay directly to their preferred bank. So there is no need to deal with the liability of having to protect your vendor's payment information. The Network does it for you.
