Update on 4/18/2025
Starting in April, we’ll be testing some new Agentic AI experiences in QuickBooks Online. We want to inform you of these tests because you may see the experiences in your clients’ books when you access them through QuickBooks Online Accountant.
Agentic AI, or AI Agents, is the automation of workflows and tasks previously performed by a person. They’re designed to create efficiencies in workflows, drive collaboration, and help save you and your clients time so you can focus on higher-value work and firm growth.
For example, we recently introduced Agentic AI capabilities in QuickBooks with the ability to help businesses stay on top of their invoices so they can get paid faster. Today, in the QuickBooks dashboard Business Feed powered by Intuit Assist, QuickBooks surfaces which invoices to collect on, bills to review, and more. Intuit Assist also drafts an invoice payment reminder to a customer and can adjust the tone and voice based on data within QuickBooks.
New agent capabilities we'll be testing over the coming months include the automation of some workflows related to profit and loss analysis, project and financial planning, maintaining accurate, up-to-date books, and collaborating with clients to better understand transaction details.
The agentic AI use cases we'll be testing are designed to work alongside you under your guidance and supervision and improve your firm’s efficiency and productivity by automating workflows so you can focus on higher-value activities.
Agentic AI represents a transformative leap in technology, with the potential to unlock unprecedented levels of efficiency for you and your clients. As we continue testing AI Agent experiences in QuickBooks over the coming months, we’ll keep you updated on what we’re testing. We’ll also share potential opportunities for you to participate in our beta programs and provide feedback.
