Arti Patel Martinez, ProAdvisor Training & Certification Leader: On today's episode of In the Know, we'll be demoing new updates to Intuit Accountant Suite Accelerate.
Hey ProAdvisors, it's Arti, and you're watching In the Know, where you get exclusive access to demos of Intuit product enhancements by the leaders who built them.
Let's jump right in with Kaitlyn Wilchynski. She'll be showing us the new updates to Intuit Accountant Suite Accelerate.
Hi Kaitlyn, welcome to the show.
Kaitlyn Wilchynski: Thanks for having me again. I'm really excited to be back talking about Intuit Accountant Suite on In the Know. I'm Kaitlyn Wilchynski. I'm a principal product manager, and I am on the accountant team.
Let's dive right into what I am demoing today. I am going to talk about new Intuit Accountant Suite Accelerate features. What we heard was that there were siloed workstreams with dispersed data that impacts your ability to kind of see the big picture. You want to see your firm as the whole portfolio. We also heard that firms are looking for ways to grow advisory services, in particular, and you need the ability to make decisions faster and with greater confidence.
What we did for that is we introduced cross-client, or what we call portfolio-level insights, and this is part of Intuit Intelligence, which I will be demoing. We also added a portfolio summary that highlights the clients that need your attention the most.
Now I'm going to dive right into showing you what this looks like because that's way better than me explaining it. Okay, here we are on Client Insights, which I've previously demoed. I'm going to show you Intuit Intelligence and what you were able to do with that. You can see I opened up Intuit Intelligence in the top navigation. It's always available, and here you can ask a question about any single client by selecting them. This identifies, and you're only going to get answers about the client you selected.
In this case, Amsbaugh Daycare. Without having to navigate to the client's QuickBooks Online, you're able to ask things such as whether there are anomalies on the profit and loss. While Intuit Intelligence is thinking, what it's doing is it's looking across the profit and loss for Amsbaugh Daycare, and you can select any of your clients or your firm without leaving Intuit Accountant Suite. Here, you can see if you were to click on any of these links, that it works great with our new multi tab because it opens up in a new tab and goes directly to that specific transaction or specific area of the product, so you're able to dig further, get more information, or take action based on what Intuit Intelligence identified.
Let's go back into Intuit Intelligence. Now the other thing we've introduced is you can do what we call cross-client insights. So for high-level KPIs, you're able to ask questions across your client portfolio. Here, I'm going to ask a question about transaction volume. This is a question we hear a lot because scope creep is real. As your clients grow, sometimes it adds a few transactions each month, but when you look over a period of time, it's quite a significant amount of work.
What Intuit Intelligence is doing is looking across the clients in your portfolio to identify any of those that have seen this increase in transaction volume. You can see here it identified two clients, Bay Builders and Remodeling, as well as Haley Horchadas. In both cases, they had significant change, and that's an indication you might want to reprice or rethink how you're doing the work for this client. You discovered this without having to go and pull this for each client individually.
Now, it can also ask questions like, like I said, those high-level KPIs such as transaction count, average gross profit margin, or expenses. Any of those KPIs you see on client insights, which again is the feature I previously demoed, you can ask questions, and it's able to identify the relevant clients. Again, this is about managing your portfolio. You have the ability to go into one client, ask questions, and go deep, or ask these high-level questions across all your clients to identify whom you may want to focus on, who is doing well, who is doing poorly, and who you may need to reprice.
This is available in Core and Accelerate, and you can ask single client questions in Core and Accelerate. The cross-client questions are just in Accelerate.
Now we'll go back to client insights. This is the portfolio summary we just launched, so here we look across all your clients and identify which clients require your attention on two different dimensions. You can see on the left its financial changes and on the right, books health. We tied this to Intuit Intelligence, so you can see I clicked on “see more.” What it is doing is running and digging deeper using our AI through Intuit Intelligence based on the client that we surfaced. For the financial summary, we're looking at things like P&L drops and anything that indicates tests using AI, require your attention, and then give you the tools to dig deeper and take action. You can use the follow-up prompts, as I showed before.
If there are certain transactions that are highlighted, we will give you a link that will open in a new tab and go directly to that transaction. Intuit intelligence is thinking. You can see how this really helps. We will show up to five clients that we prioritize for financial health. We look at the P&L. We look for big changes. We looked for cash flow issues, and then we linked Intuit Intelligence. You can dig deeper and you can query more questions. If you want to ask follow-up questions, you're able to do so. With the book's health, we look at things such as broken bank connections, unposted transactions, and AR and AP.
So, those are two of the exciting feature updates we have for the Intuit Accountant Suite Accelerate SKU, and I'm really excited to get those in your hands and have you identify how to grow your advisory practice, and back to you, Arti.
Arti Patel Martinez: Thanks so much for that walkthrough. If you find this update interesting or helpful, go ahead and like, comment and subscribe. That's all we have for now.
