Intuit Announces 2017 Top Four Global Firms Of The Future

Four accounting firms from around the world are just a short time away from winning the 2017 Intuit® QuickBooks® Global Firm of the Future contest. Intuit is celebrating AIS Solutions & Kninja, AllThatCounts, Business Cents and Business Works UK Ltd, the top accounting firms representing Australia, Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, respectively. These firms’ entries best demonstrated how they embrace online technologies to grow their practices and meet the dynamic needs of their small business clients.

The Firm of the Future contest, now in its third year, searches across the globe for the most future-ready and forward-thinking accounting, bookkeeping and tax firms that are able to best showcase how they see the value of the cloud, use business models to better value their expertise and grow their practice with modern marketing techniques. The four finalists are one step closer to winning the $10,000 USD grand prize and taking home the title of "2017 Global Firm of the Future."

“AIS Solutions & Kninja, AllThatCounts, Business Cents and Business Works UK Ltd embody the key pillars of what it means to be a Firm of the Future, and we are delighted to announce them as this year’s finalists in the Firm of the Future contest,” said Rich Preece, global leader of Intuit’s Accountant Segment, Small Business and Self-Employed Group. “These firms are trend-setters in their community and leaders in the field. We are eager to work with them as they help others embrace change and new technologies.”

Preece and a panel of qualified judges from Intuit’s global sites selected the top four finalists who best embody the attributes of Firms of the Future. Each of the top four finalists provided written submissions highlighting their firm’s work, culture and vision to demonstrate why they deserve to be named a Firm of the Future.

The four finalists have jumped into the next phase of the contest, where they will now have the opportunity to bring their submissions to life with a creative video detailing what makes their firm a Firm of the Future. Intuit will provide a videographer and producer for filming and work directly with each of the four finalists to create a high-quality video entry. Once complete, the videos will be available in an online gallery on the Firm of the Future website for public voting between Oct. 16-29, 2017.

Each finalist will also receive a $5,000 USD cash prize and two free tickets to Intuit’s annual conference, QuickBooks Connect, Nov. 15-17, in San Jose, Calif. The grand prize winner will be unveiled at QuickBooks Connect and receive an additional $10,000 USD.

In addition to the four finalists, 15 Firm of the Future runners-up from across the globe were revealed. The 15 runners-up (in alphabetical order) will each receive a cash prize of $2,500 USD. The runners-up are:
